Prof. Uri Shanas, a zoologist and ecologist at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, is purchasing private land across the globe to save forests and rare animals. He established TiME – This is My Earth, an NGO that strives to purchase and preserve 2.3% of Earth’s entire territory.
