Tali Ran Priel

Division of the Presidency and External Relations
SHORT BIO
Born and raised in Haifa, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree (with honors) in Communications and Geography, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and a teaching certificate in Communications (with honors), all from the University of Haifa.
I have been working for the University of Haifa since 1999, having held several positions along the years, both in research and administrative capacities. I have gained a thorough understanding of the university’s academic administration, students and faculty, and see the university as a second home. While heading the Events and Visits Unit of the Division of the Presidency and External Relations for the past four years, I have become acquainted with the world of philanthropy. I have been representing the University to donors and senior government officials both locally and internationally, so I welcomed the opportunity to take on my new role, and the transition has been seamless.
Contributing to the community is important to me, and I volunteer as a mentor in a program for youth without family support.
FUNDRAISING NEEDS
I share the university’s vision of a pluralistic, liberal and inclusive society.
