In the aftermath of the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas terrorists, who mercilessly, slaughtered, abused, violated, and kidnapped hundreds of innocent civilians, we are witnessing a deeply disturbing trend. Numerous voices around the world are denying the events and spreading misinformation and outright lies. These actions not only undermine Israel’s legitimacy, but also dehumanize Jews as a whole.

We cannot stand by idly and watch this happen!

Members of the university community have created a series of multi-language videos aimed at setting the record straight about the events of October 7, 2023, and providing an authentic perspective on our experiences here in Israel. These videos provide factual corrections to fake news reports, offering context to an emotionally charged and widely misunderstood conflict. 

Our message is directed to the “silent majority” – those individuals worldwide who may not have a complete understanding of  the situation. This includes foreign university faculty members who have interacted with you but may not comprehend your feelings. Or someone who has visited Israel for a scientific conference or as your guest, but hasn’t yet heard the Israeli perspective.

Videos are available on this page, and on the University’s social media platforms. We need our international friends to help us share them and reach as many people as possible around the globe! You can download or share these videos through the webpage, which will be updated daily with more videos.

In order to help you answer some (false) claims that may arise upon publication of these videos, we have compiled a set of responses to common claims frequently made by critics on social media. These responses aim to clarify key points and provide accurate information.
