Dr. Inbal Rivlin Appointed New Headof the Hecht Museum
University of Haifa is pleased to announce the new appointment of Dr. Inbal Rivlin as the new Head of the Hecht Museum. Dr. Rivlin, who earned a PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Haifa, was the Head of Strategy and Development Haifa 2030 at the Haifa Municipality, where she led projects in the areas of urban renewal, business, and the blue economy. She has also served as Head of the Haifa Economic Corporation, Haifa Life Sciences Park, and HiCenter – A Business Technology Entrepreneurship Center.
The Reuben Hecht Museum, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, was founded by the late Dr. Reuben Hecht. Dr. Hecht established the Dagon Silos in the Haifa port and was a founding member of the University of Haifa’s Board of Governors. The Hecht Foundation has been a longstanding supporter of the University’s academic centers, including establishing the Herzl Institute for Research and Study of Zionism, supporting the School of the Arts, and student scholarships.
