At a joint conference, the University’s School of Archaeology and Maritime Cultures and the Technion announced the launch of a new collaboration that will bring together archaeologists and researchers from the exact sciences. As modern archaeology relies more and more on highly specialized expertise in DNA extraction, biochemical analysis and AI to investigate discoveries on a molecular level, academics say that the initiative will benefit both institutions.
