The Project

Since its establishment in 1991, the University’s Faculty of Law has developed a reputation as a leader and pioneer in the fields of legal education and legal research in Israel.  The Faculty is home to several internationally recognized research centers and ten legal clinics for social change that provide students with a meaningful clinical education.

We believe that law is an essential social force – a vehicle for promoting justice and coexistence in Israel’s multicultural society and around the world.  To advance this goal, our multidisciplinary curriculum reaches beyond teaching basic legal concepts. It stimulates critical thinking and creativity by engaging our students with real life challenges.

Our goal is to develop global-minded lawyers who possess a broad concept of law, professional competence and social compassion.  Our students are being educated to view the legal profession as a calling to serve others and to create a more just Israeli society.
